Ethics of Data Collection and Use of Data
To comply with the mission of the Thailand Agricultural Research Repository (TARR), the repository shall store, collect and disseminate the agricultural research literature and knowledge that have been granted the right to publish by the owner in digital formats according to the international standards. Users can search information from anywhere, anytime, free of charge. The repository acts as the ‘single-window’ service access point for research-based networks in agriculture. The aims are to promote knowledge-based agricultural activities, innovations and further research projects; to strengthen the economic potentials through development of strong allied networks and agriculture information exchange. A privacy policy and terms and conditions of the website are defined to cover an appropriate website usage.
All information in the TARR system must be authorized under the Creative Commons licenses by the owner for publication. Unless licensed by the owner, all information must not be used for commercial purposes since they must be accessible by public users.
The sensitive information or data risked to copyright infringement; such as the annual budgets, profile of researchers, personal information, etc.; shall be reviewed for owner’s permission to disclose or remove before dissemination in the service system.
Any research works that may contain scientific tests on human or animal subjects shall be regarded according to each institution’s ethical code of conduct.
