บทคัดย่อ (EN): This meta-analysis was conducted to determine the crude protein requirement for maintenance in Thai native cattle. The database was extracted from 39 observations of 10 feeding trials, was conducted under diverse feeding condition in Thailand, and was subjected to statistical analysis by using mixed linear model. Database was constructed and analyzed to determine crude protein requirements for maintenance (CPm) by regressing crude protein intake (CPI, g/kgBW0.75/d) against average daily gain (ADG, g/kgBW0.75/d). The results indicated that, the relationships were highly significant (P<0.01) and the R2 value was 0.62. Crude protein requirement for maintenance of Thai native cattle from this study was 4.68 g/kg BW0.75/d, the equations obtained; CPI = 4.68 (0.58) + 0.31 (0.04) ADG (n=39, R2=0.62, RSD=0.23, P<0.001).
