บทคัดย่อ (EN): Agricultural extension helps agriculturalists gain optimal benefits from the land while create minimal impacts for the environment. This field could benefit from more complete understanding of landscape management. Environmental and landscape management are implicit in many sustainable agriculture ideas. In this case study, we showcased two landscape design research projects in Northern Thailand. Both studies used the ‘research-bydesign’ method. This case study highlights the ways in which research-by-design method can be developed for use by agricultural extension.
