บทคัดย่อ (EN): In the garment industry in Thailand, the importance of performance measurement is recognized but has been practiced in a traditional way. A number of garment industries still apply functional based measurement methods. Despite of the recognition of supply chain management, most firms have not yet put a supply chain performance measurement system into practice. Moreover manual systems are mostly in use for this purpose. This research develops a performance measurement system by applying Supply-Chain Operations Reference-model (SCOR model) and Balance Scorecard for selecting and grouping performance indicators in the garment industry. This has been done by studying and reengineering garment industry business processes, and identifying issues and problems in their supply chain. A program for monitoring performance measurement indicators in the industry was developed using Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2000 for the database. There are six main menus in the program, namely: login, select or edit metric, input data record, report, help and exit. To evaluate overall operations performance, a specific set of performance indicators for each management process in supply chain is recommended. Objectives, issues and decision-making leads to success can be identified by a good system of performance measurement. The organization performance indicators must be recorded and monitored. A database of performance with accurate data is needed for constructive decision-making in an organization.
