บทคัดย่อ (EN): A commercial-scale trial was carried out in a natural rubber processing factory to test the possibility of reducing wastewater by recycling the flooding water in the coagulation stage. During the trial, 38.4 tonnes of Teachnically Specified Rubber (TSR) were produced using recycled wastewater as flooding water when an equivalent production of TSR was conducted using fresh water as flooding water to make a comparison. It was shown that the application of recycled wastewater as flooding water did not give adverse effecta on the TSR quality, as characterised by the analyses of Dirt Content, Ash Cotent, Nitrogen Content, Plasticity Retention Index and Colour Index of the product. Approximately 13% of the wastewater quantity from the TSR processing line could be reduced by this recycling. The reduction in the amount of pollutants in the wastewater, however, was negligible.
