บทคัดย่อ: การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อวิเคราะห์อัตราส่วนทางการเงินของธุรกิจสกัดน้ำมันปาล์มในประเทศไทย และเพื่อวิเคราะห์หาอัตราส่วนเฉลี่ย รวมถึงจุดแข็งและจุดอ่อนทางการเงินของกลุ่มธุรกิจนี้ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ ธุรกิจสกัดน้ำมันปาล์มในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นนิติบุคคลที่มีหน้าที่นำส่งงบการเงินให้แก่กรมพัฒนาธุรกิจการค้า เป็นจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 63 แห่ง ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ งบการเงิน ซึ่งได้แก่ งบดุล และงบกำไรขาดทุน โดยนำมาวิเคราะห์หาอัตราส่วนทางการเงินที่ต้องการ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าธุรกิจสกัดน้ำมันปาล์มในประเทศไทย มีอัตราส่วนวัดความสามารถในการทำกำไร อัตราส่วนวัดสภาพคล่อง อัตราส่วนวัดประสิทธิภาพในการทำงาน และอัตราส่วนวัดภาระหนี้สินอยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่ดีขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ แต่ปัญหาด้านภัยแล้งทำให้เกิดการขาดแคลนวัตถุดิบปาล์มน้ำมันส่งผลให้การผลิตน้ำมันปาล์มลดลง ยอดขายลดลง และกำไรลดลงในที่สุด ดังนั้นผู้ประกอบการจึงควรวางแผนการจัดการเพื่อรองรับปัญหาการขาดแคลนวัตถุดิบ อันจะส่งผลให้ธุรกิจมีผลการดำเนินงานที่ลดลงในที่สุด
บทคัดย่อ (EN): The objectives of this study were to analyze the financial statements, average ratios, as well as the financial strengths and weaknesses of the palm oil extraction businesses in Thailand. The samples of the study were 63 Thailand palm oil extraction companies listed in the department of business development, ministry of commerce. The data used in this study consisted of the financial statements, which were the balance sheets and the income statements to analyze for the appropriate financial ratios. The result showed that the profitability ratio, the liquidity ratio, the activity ratio and the leverage ratio of the business were in a good progress. However, there was a problem of the drought in the past that caused the lack of raw material, the palm fruit, which affected the productivity amount of palm oil, rendered less sales volume and yet, less profit. Therefore the palm oil extraction entrepreneurs need management plans to deal with the lack of raw material in the future which eventually will lead to less operation results.
