บทคัดย่อ (EN): In Thailand, native chicken is a food for household consumption and it would be able to generate income to the farmer. This can be alternative rearing approach to create value such as attractive chicken contest, and cockfighting etc. Furthermore, chicken breeding conservation of native chicken is still important to remain the primary species; the native chicken contest is more acceptable in both domestic and international level. The consequence of native chicken price value will increase from 100-1,000 times. There are 2 kinds of generating the value added of native chicken. The contest, the standardize specie selection is the approach to conservative of native chicken. The criteria of the contest are determined by Thai intellectual figure which will be able to add a value of native chicken is up to 40,000-100,000 baht. The Criteria of native chicken contesting consists of an economy characteristic such as size, weight and complete body ete. In addition, Thai Intellectual figure for instance general character, color, and health etc. The competition/fighting, in the part, cockfighting are the fowl game for high class people. Cockfighting rearing is delicate; the feeder must have good knowledge in each species. The price of cockfight depends on the winner of the match of fighting. The more winning, the price gaining. It can be start at 10,000-100,000 baht. Conclusion: to generate value of native chicken, the contest and cockfighting can increase the value up to 100- 1,000 times. However, the feeder must have good knowledge how to rear the native chicken as well.
