บทคัดย่อ: ศึกษาแพลงก์ตอนสัตว์จากบริเวณเกาะจวง เกาะแสมสาร เกาะปลาหมึก เกาะจระเข้ อำเภอสัตหีบ จังหวัดชลบุรี ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม ถึงเดือน กันยายน 2557 จำนวน 5 ครั้ง พบแพลงก์ตอนสัตว์ทั้งสิ้น 13 ไฟลัม 41 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ไฟลัม Bryozoa, Protozoa, Cnidaria, Ctenophora, Nematoda, Annelida, Sipunculida, Arthropoda, Chaetognatha, Tentaculata, Mollusca, Echinodermata, และ Chordata พบจำนวนตัวรวมเฉลี่ยในในช่วงฤดูลมมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ และฤดูลมมรสุมตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือสูงสุด เท่ากับ 2.53 และ 0.61 X 106 ตัวต่อลูกบาศก์เมตร ตามลำดับ ไฟลัมที่พบเป็นกลุ่มเด่นคือไฟลัม Chordata ในสกุล Oikopleura sp. ซึ่งพบจำนวนตัวรวมเฉลี่ยสูงสุดช่วงฤดูลมมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ ได้แก่ เดือนพฤษภาคมและเดือนกันยายน เท่ากับ 1.46, และ 1.32 X 106 ตัวต่อลูกบาศก์ เมตร ตามลำดับ กลุ่มที่พบมากรองลงมาและมีความสำคัญในระบบห่วงโซ่อาหารในเดือนพฤษภาคม ได้แก่ Lucifer hanseni, Sagitta spp. และ ไส้เดือนทะเล มีจำนวนตัวรวมเท่ากับ 37.60, 27.79, และ 22.30 X 104 ตัวต่อลูกบาศก์เมตร ตามลำดับ จากการวิเคราะห์ลำดับนิวคลีโอไทด์ของยีนส์ในไมโทคอนเดรีย 16S ribosomal RNA (16S) และ cytochrome oxidase I (COI) ในตัวอย่างโคพีพอดที่มีลักษณะสัณฐานวิทยาของ Tortanus forcipatus Giesbrecht, 1889 มีขนาด 269 และ 577 คู่เบส ตามลำดับ
บทคัดย่อ (EN): This study set out to examine zooplankton collected from Chuang, Samaesarn, Pamuk, and from the Chorakae Islands which are within the Sattahip district of Chon Buri Province, Thailand. From these samples collected throughout January to September 2014, a total of fourty-one groups belonging to 13 phylum of zooplankton were found, with representatives belonging to the Bryozoa, Protozoa, Cnidaria, Ctenophora, Nematoda, Annelida, Sipunculida, Arthropoda, Chaetognatha, Tentaculata, Mollusca, Echinodermata, and the Chordata. The highest average abundance of zooplankton was found during southwest and northeast monsoon seasons with 2.53 and 0.61 X 106 ind. /m3, respectively. From these latter collections, the samples were dominant by species from the genus Oikopleura sp. (Phylum Chordata) with an average total of 1.46, and 1.32 X 106 ind. /m3 from those collected in May and September during the southwest monsoon season. Of these, the collection made in May consisted of important food chain species that were found in abundance species such as Lucifer hanseni (av. 37.60 X 104 ind. /m3), Sagitta spp. (av. 27.79X 104 ind. /m3), and various Polychaete were ( 22.30 X 104 ind. /m3). Genetic analyses of two mitochondrial genes, 16S ribosomal RNA (269 bp) and COI genes (577) were conducted on specimens of Tortanus forcipatus Giesbrecht, 1889 that were identified by their morphology
