บทคัดย่อ (EN): One of effort which have been done to enlarge the genetic variability of rubber clones in Indonesia which used germplasm had been conservated since year 1984 - 1989. Rubber germplasm was resulted of expedition IRRDB in the year 1981 in Amazone dale, Brazil. Opportunity to get the new superior genotype will be bigger with use hybridization between Wikcham 1876 X Germplasm 1981 population. The first step in rubber breeding is chosen the best genotypes in seedling evaluation trial (SET). Selection done to mind parameter mainly production potential ( latex and wood) and growth likes girth, plant high, number of umbrella plant, barkthickness, bark anatomy ( number and diameter of latex vessel rings), plugging index and dry rubber content. The research result showed that genotypes segregation of RRIM 600 X PN 1546 crossing indicated high variability, which can be seen from coefficient of variance ( CV) of latex yield index (100,18%), volume of canopy wood (84,51%), number of rubber particles (65,63%), wood volume total (62,98%), and wood of branching free volume (62,47%). While low coefficient of variance were diameter of latex vessel rings (4,99%) and latex flow rate (6,97%). The population model of genotype segregation based on seven characters (girth, barkthickness, number of rubber particles, number and diameter of latex vessel rings, plugging index and latex flow rate) observed had normal distribution. While three characters ( latex yield, latex yield index, wood volume total) had positive model its mean that some of genotypes had low value. Based on correlation value showed that, girth, barkthickness, number and diameter of latex vessel rings, latex yield index, and latex flow rate had more significant correlation to latex yield. While plugging index, thiol, phosphate inorganic and sucrose rate had negative correlation to latex yield. Pursuant to multiple regression analyses showed that girth, barkthickness, number and diameter of latex vessel rings, number of latex particles, latex flow rate, thiol, phosphate inorganic, sucrose rate, and dry rubber content characters had positive correlation to latex yield. Thatfore, diameter of latex vessel rings, plugging index, and yield index had negative correlation. Latex yield components had high direct effect to latex yield namely number of latex vessel ( 0,722) and indirect effect (- 0,504), direct effect of girth ( 0,588) and indirect (- 0,141), direct effect of barkthickness ( 0,556) and indirect (- 1,226), while direct and indirect effect of rubber particle number were equal value.
