บทคัดย่อ (EN): Four (4) Corynespora cassiicola isolates representing 2 genetic groups and different host sources in Vietnam were selected to test their pathogenicity using detachted leaf assay and artificial inoculation in greenhouse condition. The isolates CoryLK02 and CoryPK01 were isolated from the rubber tree meanwhile the isolate CoryLK26 was isolated from papaya and the isolate CoryLK38 was obtained from white pumpkin (Benincasa hispida). In this study, the pathogenicity of these 4 C. cassiicola isolates on 7 rubber clones, papaya and white pumpkin after 6 days of inoculation on detached leaves ranged from no visible lesion to small dark discolouration below droplet and then to fully prominent large lesion with or without mycelium growth. The percent disease intensity ranged from 0.0 to 100.0% and the average infection score ranged from 0.0 to 4.0, all of the studied isolates could infect leaves of 7 rubber clones. In addition, the CoryLK02 could infect papaya and white pumpkin, but CoryPK01 could not infect these hosts. The CoryLK26 only infected papaya leaves and rubber leaves. Meanwhile CoryLK38 could infect not only white pumpkin and rubber trees but also papaya. In greenhouse condition, the infection level of 4 representative isolates on 7 rubber clones, papaya and white pumpkin after 10 days inoculated ranged from no symptoms to clearly symptoms on leaves of 7 rubber clones. The percent disease intensity ranged from 0.0 to 57.6% and the average infection score ranged from 0.0 to 2.9, all of the C. cassiicola isolates could infect leaves of rubber clones. Similar to the result of detached leaf assay, CoryLK02 caused slight infection on papaya and white pumpkin, but the CoryPK01 showed no symptom on these hosts. CoryLK26 infected papaya and cross infected all of the tested rubber clones in this study. Meanwhile CoryLK38 is pathogenic not only on white pumpkin but also on rubber tree and papaya.
