บทคัดย่อ (EN): This study was to determine the effect of fresh semen dilution rate (Dang cocks) on percentage of fertile egg in commercial hybrid layers. The experiment was performed by using 1 years-old layer hens and 2 years-old Dang cocks. A completely randomized design was used in the study. A total of 9 cocks and 60 hens were divided into 4 groups of each of 15 females. Each group of hen was randomly assigned to the different ratios of fresh semen and semen dilution rates containing of 1:9, 1:4, 1:2.33 and 1:1.5 (fresh semen: diluents). The results showed that the fertile eggs in commercial hybrid layers of the 1:1.5 (93.06 %) dilution rates per insemination groups was significantly different (P<0.05) from the 1:2.33 (90.48 %), 1:4 (92.50 %) and 1:9 (88.88 %).The finding concluded that the efficiency of Dang cocks in 1:1.5 semen dilution rates per insemination groups gave the best results for a fertile egg in commercial layers.
