บทคัดย่อ (EN): The objective of present study was to determine the effect of collection frequency on semen characteristics of Betong and Dang chickens. Twenty four cocks of each breed from 52 weeks old were assigned in a Factorial experiment in CRD. The frequency of sperm collection was carried out in to four treatments which was collected everyday in treatment 1 and collected by skipped for 1 day, 2 days and 3 days in treatment 2, 3 and 4, respectively for six consecutive weeks . The results showed that semen volume, density, consistency, mass activity and motility were not significantly different (P>0.05) among treatments. It is concluded that the collection of semen of 52 weeks Betong chickens and Dang chickens can be done every day and it doesn’t affect the quantity and quality of semen.
