บทคัดย่อ (EN): The aim of this study was to determine the influences of different growth promoters; synbiotic and antibiotic for a period of 7-42 days on growth performance and carcass composition of broiler chickens. A total of thirty-six, 1-d-old Arbor Acres broiler chickens were randomly allocated into three dietary groups with 12 replicates; group 1control: basal diet, group 2: basal diet plus prebiotic and probiotic mixture (Allium cepa L. 1.1 g/kg diet and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens 0.1 g/kg diet; 1x106 CFU/f), group 3: basal diet plus 2 g Neomycin/kg. Result showed that dietary treatments had no effect on final body weight (BW), weight gain, feed intake, and feed conversion ratio (P>0.05). Furthermore, the organs and carcass weights (heart, liver, spleen, gizzard, thigh, drumstick and breast fillet) were not significantly different between the treatments (P>0.05). Supplementation of synbiotic had increased the lactic acid bacteria belonging to lactobacillus spp. (P<0.05) for the whole period (7-42 d). However, the total of E. coli had decreased in both treatments group when compared with the control groups. Dietary supplementation of synbiotic and antibiotic can be reduced the populations of unprofitable or potential pathogens (E. coli) compared with the control treatment.
