บทคัดย่อ: 1. The study of bio-diversity of lotus On the highway number 321, 217, 24, 2182, 2178, 226, 23, 212 and 2050, it found lotus growing the nature by 25, 11, 16, 6, 6, 5, 15 and 14 points respectively. In biological diversity, it found two families of lotus namely NELUMBONACEAE and NYMPHAEACEAE and two genus namely Lotus with scientific name as Nelumbo and Water lily with scientific name as Nymphaea 2. The study of suitable environment for lotus 2.1 The quality of water The average pH is 6.73. The temperature is 24.50 OC. The electrical conduction is 217.66 us/cm. The dissolved oxygen is 4.25 mg/l. The BOD is 3.55 mg/l. The total solid is 29.3498 mg/l. The total nitrogen is 4.82 mg/l. With the pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen, they are in standardization of surface water type 3. BOD is slightly over. The electrical conduction, total solid, and total nitrogen are quite less. lt implies that the water is quite clean and suitable for growth of lotus. 2.2 The quality of soil The average percentage of nitrogen phosphorus and potassium are 0.0629, 0.0011 and .0035 respectively. The average calcium, magnesium and sulfur are 256.94, 114.272, and 27,612 ppm. respectively. By the quality of soil, it is mostly composed of low nutrient but still be made lotus grow. For the growth of lotus, there are other factors concerned such as water temperature, the depth of water, the dissolved nutrient in water, sunlight etc. 3. The growth of lotus and related factors Nelumbo is a kind of lotus which having strong stem and able to stand over water level in both of flower and leaf. There is ไหล that branching on the floor. The flower can be used to give respect to the Buddha and the seed can be eaten. The growth is depended on quality of water, soil and sunlight. It can propagate by seed and stolon. Nymphaea has weak stem that can slightly stand its flower and leaf over water level. Its rhizome or หัว is under surface. The stem can be made food. The growth of lotus is depended on quality of water, soil and sunlight. It can propagate by seed and rhizome,
