บทคัดย่อ (EN): Effect of paclobutrazol on growth and flowering of alpinia was studied at Lampang Agricultural Research and Training Centre, during August 2000 to June 200 . Alpinia were treated with paclobutrazol at 0, 500, 1 ,000, 2,000 and 4,000 mg/l after one mounth pruning. The result showed that at 3 months after application, the controlled treatment (0 paclobutrazol) had the highest height, canopy size and number of trees (i.e. 36.67 cm., 3 .92 cm. and 7.83 trees, respectively). At 6 months after application the 0 paclobutrazol had the highest and canopy size (i.e. 4 .00 cm., and 40.72 cm., respectively). At 9 months after application,The different concentrations did not affect height, canopy size and number of tree.
