บทคัดย่อ: พื้นที่ปลูกข้าวในเขตภาคเหนือตอนล่างส่วนใหญ่ดินมีความอุดมสมบูรณ์ มีศักยภาพสูงในการผลิตข้าวพันธุ์ดี แต่ปัจจุบันพันธุ์ข้าวหอมที่มีอมิโลสปานกลางที่ได้รับการรับรองพันธุ์จากราชการมีเพียง 1 พันธุ์ คือ นางมล เอส-4 การคัดเลือกพันธุ์ข้าวให้ได้สายพันธุ์ที่มีความหอม อมิโลสปานกลาง ผลผลิตสูง ต้านทานต่อโรคและแมลงศัตรูข้าวที่สำคัญ จึงเป็นทางเลือกหนึ่งให้กับเกษตรกร ศูนย์วิจัยข้าวพิษณุโลก ได้ผสมพันธุ์และคัดเลือก ข้าวนาน้ำฝนสายพันธุ์ PSL04106-28-1-2-1-1-1 จากการผสมซ้อน ปี 2545-2547 ระหว่างคู่ผสม HPSL1/Mudgo//HSRN/SPR90116-15-2-2-1-1///SPR90116-15-2-2-1-1 ปี 2548-2549 ปลูกลูกผสมชั่วที่ 1 และ 2 แบบหมู่ ปี 2550-2551 นำพันธุ์ผสมชั่วที่ 3-4 ทดสอบความต้านทานเพลี้ยกระโดดสีน้ำตาล คัดเลือกต้นที่ต้านทานนำเข้าเร่งชั่วอายุ จากนั้นนำไปปลูกเป็นพันธุ์ผสมชั่วที่ 5-6 ทดสอบความต้านทานโรคไหม้ คัดเลือกต้นที่ต้านทานนำเข้าเร่งชั่วอายุ ปี 2551 ปลูกพันธุ์ผสมชั่วที่ 7 ปี 2552 ปลูกศึกษาพันธุ์ คัดเลือกได้สายพันธุ์ PSL04106-28-1-2-1-1-1 ปี 2553 ปลูกเปรียบเทียบผลผลิตภายในสถานี ปี 2554-2555 ปลูกเปรียบเทียบผลผลิตระหว่างสถานี และปลูกทดสอบเสถียรภาพผลผลิต ต่อมาในปี 2555 ปลูกเปรียบเทียบผลผลิตในนาราษฎร์ และทดสอบการตอบสนองต่อปุ๋ยไนโตรเจน ข้าวสายพันธุ์ PSL04106-28-1-2-1-1-1 เป็นข้าวเจ้าไวต่อช่วงแสง อายุปานกลาง เก็บเกี่ยวปลายเดือนพฤศจิกายน ให้ผลผลิต 728 กิโลกรัมต่อไร่ ลักษณะประจำพันธุ์ คือ มีทรงต้นค่อนข้างตั้ง ต้นแข็งไม่ล้มง่าย ใบสีเขียว ใบธงตั้ง คอรวงค่อนข้างสั้น รวงแน่นปานกลาง ความสูงเฉลี่ย 125 เซนติเมตร น้ำหนักข้าวเปลือก 11.35 กิโลกรัมต่อถัง ข้าวเปลือก 1,000 เมล็ดหนัก 32.67 กรัม เปลือกเมล็ดสีฟางปนฟางกระน้ำตาล ข้าวเปลือกยาว 10.15 มิลลิเมตร กว้าง 2.91 มิลลิเมตร หนา 2.17 มิลลิเมตร ข้าวกล้องรูปร่างเรียว ยาว 7.76 มิลลิเมตร กว้าง 2.39 มิลลิเมตร หนา 1.89 มิลลิเมตร ข้าวสารยาว 7.74 มิลลิเมตร กว้าง 2.35 มิลลิเมตร หนา 1.85 มิลลิเมตร จัดอยู่ในกลุ่มอมิโลสปานกลาง (22.2%) ความคงตัวของแป้งสุกในระดับค่อนข้างอ่อน อุณหภูมิแป้งสุกต่ำ การยืดตัวของเมล็ดข้าวสุกน้อย เมื่อหุงสุกมีกลิ่นหอม เลื่อมมันเล็กน้อย สีขาวนวล ข้าวสุกค่อนข้างนุ่มคล้ายนางมล เอส-4 แต่ไม่นุ่มมากเหมือนขาวดอกมะลิ 105 มีระยะพักตัว 7-8 สัปดาห์ ข้าวพันธุ์นี้เหมาะสำหรับพื้นที่นาน้ำฝนในภาคเหนือตอนล่าง และภาคกลาง เป็นข้าวอายุปานกลางที่ให้ผลผลิตสูง ต้านทานต่อโรคไหม้
บทคัดย่อ (EN): The major rainfed rice growing area in the Lower North region of Thailand has good soil fertility. It has high potential to produce good rice varieties including aromatic rice. However, at present, Nahng Mon S-4 is the only aromatic, intermediate amylose content rice variety being officially released. Therefore, a selection for an aromatic, intermediate amylose content, high yield and resistant to major disease and insect pest is needed to provide the alternative for farmers. The promising line designated PSL04106-28-1-2-1-1-1 was obtained the double cross being HPSL1/Mudgo//HSRN/SPR90116-15-2-2-1-1///SPR90116-15-2-2-1-1 during 2002-2004. F1 and F2 were massively sown in 2005-2006, respectively. F3 and F4 were tested against brown plant hopper (BPH) during 2007-2008 and resistant plants were selected for rapid generation advance (RGA), after which the plants were grown as F5-F6. Blast resistance screening was conducted and selected plants were passed through the step of RGA. F7 was sown in 2008 and observation trial was carried out in 2009 after which the line PSL04106-28-1-2-1-1-1 was selected. Intra-station yield trial was carried out in 2010 followed by Inter-station yield trial and yield stability trial during 2011-2012. Also, in the year 2012, farmers’ field yield trials and nitrogen fertilizer application experiment were concurrently conducted. This promising line PSL04106-28-1-2-1-1-1 is a photosensitive, non-glutinous rice line having medium maturity being harvested towards the end of November providing an average grain yield of 728 kg/rai. It has a rather upright tillers, strong culm, green leaves, upright flag leaf, rather short neck, medium-packed panicle. The average height is 125 cm. The paddy grain weight is 11.35 kg/thang. One-thousand grain weight is 32.67 g. The seed has a straw color and straw with brown speckles. The seed dimension is 10.15 x 2.19 x 2.17 mm for length x width x thickness, respectively. The brown rice has a slender shape having length x width x thickness as 7.76 x 2.39 x 1.89 mm, respectively. The grain dimension is 7.74 x 2.35 x 1.85 mm for length x width x thickness, respectively. It is classified as intermediate amylose content group (22.2%), soft-medium gel consistency, low gelatinization temperature and less elongation ratio. Cooked rice is aromatic, glossy and white in color. It’s texture is as soft as Nahng Mon S-4 but less than KDML105. Seed dormancy is 7-8 weeks. This promising line is recommended for the rainfed area in the Lower North and Central plain. It’s agronomic characters comprise of an intermediate maturity having the advantages as high yield and resistance to rice blast.
