บทคัดย่อ (EN): Certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) according to the standards practice system and a good quality management is a project of the Natural Rubber Policy Committee established on 17 January 2012. It is to keep the stability of rubber price and along with development project of Agricultural Institutes. Rubber Research Institute of Thailand (RRIT) has started the GMP certificate for the first time lead to guidelines for baling factories of Ribbed Smoked Sheet (RSS) and warehoused. This guidance includes guideline of good quality ribbed smoked sheet production and RRIT officers recommend the factories to follow strictly practices. Consequently, three of Rubber Cooperative Fund Plantation Limited and one of the private of RSS baling factory have been passed GMP standards in the country during 2012-2014. The assessment must pass of criteria GMP standards more than 80 percent. After receiving the certificate, the four factories have orders from domestic and International customers more than the amount of production about 5 times. The four factories practicing GMP standards provide quality assured product to the customers, upload to 192 bales into a container which normally can contain 180 bales or 20 tons and reduce labor costs 6.25 percent. RSS bale producers satisfy standard shape bale due to lower costs and saving time. Furthermore, all of produces can export RSS bale which have value added 0.02 – 0.08 US$ per kilogram or 3,300 – 28,000 US$ per month. And these factories can produce with capacity of 165 – 350 tons per month. In 2015, there will be at least 7 factories to join this project which can increase value added more than three hundred million US$. Now, GMP standards of RRIT have been upgraded to GMP standards for agricultural trade of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives which are accepted by International. In addition to enhancement of product, strengthens Agricultural Institute and builds confidences of buyers and users, and also increases potential for export as well.
