บทคัดย่อ (EN): Chloroplast simple sequence repeats (cpSSRs) were surveyed for the genetic variability of 74 cultivated clones and 34 Amazonian clones. Thirteen variants were detected at six cpSSRs in the clones tested. The genetic information from the six polymorphic sites results in eight distinct cpSSR haplotypes (A through H). Two chlorotypes (H and G) were found in cultivated clones of which chlorotype H was the most frequent in these cultivated clones. Chlorotype G was found only in primary clone GT1 and cultivated clone which had GT1 as maternal parent. Seven chlorotypes (A, B, C, D, E, F and H) were detected among the Amazonian clones, while chlorotypes B E and H were each found in only one clone. Analysis of the variants and the haplotypes of the six cpSSRs in dicated higher genetic diversity in Amazonian clones compared with the cultivated clones. Our results suggest that it is possible that the common ancestors of cultivated Hevea rubber clones come from clones that carry the chlorotype H. These results provide valuable data for in situ or ex situ conservation and utilization of germplasm collections for breeding programs.
