บทคัดย่อ: This study investigated the stability of varieties in different environments on oil palm yield. The 6-7 year old oil palm plantation was conducted in two areas, lowland and highland areas for a period of 2 years (2015-2016). The experimental design was completely randomized design (CRD). The seven palm oil varieties are Nong-pet, Compact, Surattani 2, Nigeria black, Yumgambi, CP and Cirad. They are planting 9x9x9 m, compared to the Duncans multiple range test (DMRT.), and recorded the growth and yield of the oil palm. The data were comparison between fertilizer use and responses in each area. Oil palm species cultivated in both the lowlands and highland area in the years 2015 - 2016. The different environments resulted in different oil palm plantings. The cultivars in the experimental plot in the lowland soils were better than those grown in highland area. Nigerian black strains have a stable breeding ground for growth in all environments. While other species respond to different environments. Oil palm species cultivated in both the lowland and highland areas in the years 2015 - 2016. Different environments resulted in different oil palm yields with different growth rates. The cultivars grown in the experimental plot in the soils were higher than the oil palm planted in highland area. Compact has stability in terms of high productivity in all environments. While each oil palm species responds to different environments. Therefore, Compact variety is suitable for planting highland and lowland area in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. However, the study did not study the management of oil palm plantations in each park or area. It’s allowing the farmers to manage the garden as usual. Therefore, the information obtained is the information from the farm management of the farmers purely. Typically, all oil palm species gave the yield well according to their potential. However, it will depend on the owner of the parks primary oil palm orchard. The oil palm can show the potential of that variety. Keywords: stability, oil palm, yield 1 Faculty of Agriculture.
