บทคัดย่อ: ในปัจจุบันลำห้วยโจ้และพื้นที่โดยรอบประสบปัญหาต่างๆ เนื่องจากความเจริญเติบโตของชุมชนเมือง ทำให้เกิดการเปลี่ยแปลงการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินจากพื้นที่เกษตรกรรม ไปเป็นพื้นที่อยู่อาศัยก่อให้เกิดปัญหาการรุกล้ำพื้นที่ลำน้ำห้วยโจ้ การพังทลายของตลิ่ง สภาพแวดล้อมพื้นที่ริมน้ำเสื่อมโทรมและปริมาณน้ำไม่เพียงพอต่อการอุปโภคและการเกษตรกรรม ในฤดูแล้ง โครงการนี้ เกิดขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาหาแนวทางปฎิบัติที่เหมาะสมทางด้านกายภาพ พื้นที่ริมน้ำห้วยโจ้
บทคัดย่อ (EN): Nowadays, Huay Jo canal and the surrounding areas are experiencing problems invarious aspects due to urban growth which causes changes in the utitization of land fromagricultural areas to residentiaI areas. This has resuLted in the probtems of theencroachment of the Huay Jo canal area, erosion of the btuffs canal area, environmentdegradation and the quantity of water is not sufficlent for use. The research projectentitled " Guidelines to Conserve, Revitalize, and Develop Huay Jo Waterfront Landscape,Sansai, Chiangmai." aims to study the appropriate practices to future generations of thespace by studying the various factors that affect the way the conservatlon, rehabllitationand development of the physical environment of the Huay Jo canal area, to analyse andsynthesize, to flnd the potentia[ and the [imitations of the space, and the applicatlon ofthat information to find ways to conserve, restore and devetop the physical environmentof the Huay Jo canal area, corresponding to the eco-system and the existingcommunities.Tools used in this research consisted of a questionnalre survey and observations.Atl data were cottected including those from secondary sources such as documents fromthe retevant agencies, primary data from questionnaire survey, data using photography,sketching notes and the base map, and data from observations in the fietd. AIL data wasanatysed by means of appropriate anatysis factors into the base map chart, overlayanatysis (Overtay Mapping), spatial statistics (Descriptive Statistics), portrays a statisticalmodel (percentage) and the average (Mean) in the end. Then, atl analyzed informationwas processed together to summarize the potential areas and conservation restrictions.Rehabilitation and devetopment of the Huay Jo waterfront landscape areas then wereselected as a design demonstration area, fo[[owing the guidetines in the conservation,restoration, and devetopment of Huay Jo waterfront Landscape area, corresponding tothe eco-system, and the needs of the communities.The resutts of this research summarized the conservation practices, rehabititationand devetopment of the Huay Jo waterfront Landscape areas, San Sai, and theappropriate spaces by clearty identiflTing the scopes of the restoration and developmentof the waterfront Landscape area, promoting activities in accordance with conservationand with nature, increasing water retention, improving water quatity, reducing emissions.
