บทคัดย่อ (EN): Myostatin (MSTN) and transforming growth factor beta 3 (TGF-β3) has an important role to be involved in a development of growth in chicken and mammal. A total of one hundred samples were collected from 25% Thai native chicken crossbred. PCR-RFLP was used to genotype a fragment length polymorphism on the myostatin (MSTN/BbvI) and transforming growth factor beta 3 (TGF-β3/BslI). The result found variation of MSTN and TGF-β3. There were three pattern of genotypes AA, AG and GG of MSTN patterns and three genotypes of TGF-β3; AA, AB and BB. The finding might be concluded that variation in both regions could be useful for further study on growth traits in native chicken.
