บทคัดย่อ (EN): Assessment of the efficacy of test fungicides, Thiramet (Thiram) and folpet (Folpan) on panel diseases of Black Stripe, and Mouldy Rot rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) was conducted at the Rubber Research Institute of Nigeria main station, Iyanomo, Benin City, Nigeria. A total of three hundred (300) trees of about 20 years old were evaluated for the curative efficacy of the fungicides at the rates of 25 g/1 concentration trials. Four experiment plots were designated for the survey. Seventy five (75) rubber trees were randomly isolated in each plot. Each test plant was treated with a fungicide thrice at three to four weeds intervals. Curative effects of the fungicides were evaluated on three consecutive occasions (three replications) at one month interval at different time schedules. Results showed that Thiramet was significantly and highly effective (P<0.01) in the treatment of the panel diseases. At 25 g/1 Thiramet concentration, a mean curative effect of 71.69% was recorded while at 50 g/1, Thiramet produced a mean curative effect of 80.01%. Folpet at 25g/1 concentration recorded a mean curative effect of 56.11%, and at 50 g/1, 67.37% was obtained. Effects of Folpet was also significant (P<0.05). These figures imply that Thiramet was generally more effective than Folpet a t both concentrations against incidence of the panel diseases. Graphical illustrations of the effects of the test fungicides showed variations among the sub – plots within a plot.
