บทคัดย่อ: การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงระดับความรู้ของประชาชนในการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความรู้ของประชาชนในการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน รวมถึงปัญหา อุปสรรคและข้อเสนอแนะ ของประชาชนในการอนุรักษ์ และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน ในพื้นที่แขวงท่าข้าม เขตบางขุนเทียน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ที่ทำการศึกษา คือหัวหน้าครัวเรือนหรือผู้แทนครัวเรือนที่มีอายุ ตั้งแต่ 18 ปีขึ้นไป ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ในชุมชนบริเวณพื้นที่ ป่าชายเลน ในเขตหมู่ที่9 และหมู่ที่ 10 แขวงท่าข้าม เขตบางขุนเทียน จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 260 ราย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ สถิติ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและการวิเคราะห์การผันแปรทางเดียว (Analysis of Variance: ANOVA) ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้ในการอนุรักษ์ และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลนในระดับปานกลาง โดยปัจจัย ที่มีผลต่อความรู้ของประชาชนในการอนุรักษ์ และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน ได้แก่ระยะห่างของครัวเรือนจากพื้นที่ ป่าชายเลน ลักษณะในการถือครองที่ดิน และการได้รับการอบรมเกี่ยวกับทรัพยากรป่าชายเลนมีผลต่อความรู้ของ ประชาชนในการอนุรักษ์ และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 ส่วนระดับการศึกษา ระยะเวลาในการ อยู่อาศัย อาชีพหลักของครัวเรือน ขนาดพื้นที่ถือครอง การใช้ประโยชน์ในพื้นที่ป่าชายเลนและ การรับรู้ข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับการอนุรักษ์ป่าชายเลนมีผลต่อความรู้ของประชาชนในการอนุรักษ์ และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.001 ในส่วนของปัญหา อุปสรรคที่สำคัญ ในการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน คือ การขาดการประสานงานกัน ระหว่างหน่วยราชการด้วยกัน และระหว่างหน่วยงานราชการกับประชาชนใน พื้นที่ และการขาดความรู้ ความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องในการอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูพื้นที่ป่าชายเลน ข้อเสนอแนะจากการวิจัย คือ หน่วยงานของภาครัฐ ควรมีการส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนในพื้นที่เข้ามามีส่วนร่วม ในการแก้ไขปัญหาป่าชายเลนร่วมกัน อีกทั้งควรมีการให้ความรู้ ความเข้าใจแก่ประชาชนในพื้นที่ เกี่ยวกับ ความสำคัญของ ทรัพยากรป่าชายเลน การอนุรักษ์และฟื้นฟูป่าชายเลน และการใช้ประโยชน์จากทรัพยากรป่าชายเลน อย่างยั่งยืน เพื่อพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจที่ถูกต้องให้กับประชาชนในพื้นที่
บทคัดย่อ (EN): This research aimed to study the knowledge level of people and factors affecting their knowledge about the conservation and rehabilitation of mangrove forest, including the problems, threats and recommendations of people in the conservation and restoration of Mangrove Forest in Kwang Tha Karm. 260 household heads or household representatives over 18 years old residing in the mangrove forest community area, Moo 9 and Moo10, Kwang Tha Karm, Bang Khun Thien District were selected. Data were analyzed using Percent, Mean, Standard Deviation and Analysis of Variance: ANOVA. Results of the study indicted that sample participants knew moderately about the conservation and rehabilitation of mangrove forests. Factors affecting this knowledge were distance of household from mangrove forest, the nature of occupation and training with a statistical significant level of 0.01. Educational level, residing duration, main household occupation, size of occupied land, Mangrove Forest utlization and acquisition of news regarding mangrove forest conservation and rehabilitation had a statistical significance level of 0.001. Significant problems and threats in the conservation and rehabilitation of mangrove forests were insufficient work coordination between government divisions and government divisions and people in the area, lack of accurate knowledge and understanding about the conservation and rehabilitation of mangrove forests. Research recommendations were made for encouraging participation of locals in solving mangrove forest problems together ,and also for providing knowledge and understanding of the value of mangrove forest resources, conservation, rehabilitation and sustainable utilization in order to develop and build a better understanding of these issue among local people.
