บทคัดย่อ (EN): Rubber breeding and selection conducted gradually, started with crossing result in seedling evaluation trial ( SET). Selected genotypes were propagation by budding, which would be genetic material in promotion plot and preliminary trial. The selected clones from that trials had gone to further trials . Rubber breeding activities of fourth generation started in 1985 had produced promising superior clones of IRR 200 series, which were more productive as high latex yielder, vigorous, resistance to diseases and good important secondary characteristics. Observation were made on dry rubber yield, girth size, bark thickness, rings number and diameter latex vessel and attack intensity of Colletotrichum, Oidium, Corynespora leaf fall diseases. According to girth growth at four years old, IRR 220 and IRR 211 were the vigorous clones (girth size 44,9 and 51,0 cm respectively). In mature priod the vigorous clones are IRR 202 ( 91 cm), IRR 210 ( 86 cm), IRR 218 ( 85 cm), IRR 207 ( 79 cm), IRR 215 ( 79 cm) and IRR 200 ( 77 cm) clone. Observation of latex yield potency during two years tapping by system of BI-1: 1 / 2S d / 3 and H0-1 ¼ S ↑ d / 3. ET. 2,5% Ba-1.0 9 / y ( double cut) showed g/t/t highest yield were IRR 213 (85,25 g), IRR 210 ( 77,13 g), IRR 207 (75,94 g), IRR 202 ( 70,93 g), IRR 214 ( 69,35 g), IRR 205 ( 60,43 g), IRR 220 (53,13 g) and IRR 208 (51,84 g). In wet location, the vigorous clones at five years are IRR 211 ( 54,5 cm), IRR 215 ( 54,3 cm), IRR 205 ( 49,8 cm), IRR 219 ( 4,99 cm), IRR 216 ( 49,3 cm), and IRR 217 ( 49,2 cm). Clone IRR 220 can be classified as stable at two locations, while IRR 211 was more adaptive on wet agroclimate locations. Based on bark thickness and latex vessels, the clones IRR 208, IRR 211, IRR 215, IRR 217 and IRR 220 are also predicted have good potency as latex yielders. All of the clones were classified to moderately resistant upto resistant to Colletotrichum, Oidium, Corynespora leaf fall diseases.
