บทคัดย่อ (EN): White root disease caused by Rigidoporus microporus fungi (WRD) is one of disease which resulted in the highest economic losses in rubber plantation in Indonesia. Many methods could be done to control this disease i.e. mechanical, biological or chemical methods which give different results. The aim of this research were to observe the effect of application of Serratia bacteria, Triadimefon and Triadimenol fungicides and also application of Trichoderma fungi to suppress the spreading of white root disease both invitro and invivo scales. This research was conducted in laboratory, greenhouse, and field at Sembawa Research Center. Activities in the laboratory were arranged in randomized completely design with 5 treatments. The treatments included a white root fungus antagonism test (R. microporus) on PDA (potato dextrose agar) with 1) Serratia Bacteria 2) Fungicide Triadimefon, 3) Fungicides Triadimenol, 4) Trichoderma fungi 5) control. The observed parameters were percentage of inhibition and hypha interactions. Whereas, the treatments in greenhouse and field were 1) Serratia Bacteria 2) Fungicide Triadimefon, 3) Fungicide Triadimenol, 4) Trichoderma fungi and 5) control on rubber plants which infected by white root disease. The observed parameters were disease intensity at the beginning and of the end of the experiment, the effectiveness of each treatment and the percentage of suppression was compared to control. The results in laboratory showed that the lowest percentage of inhibition occured on Triadimenol fungicide treatment and the highest percentage of inhibition occurred on Trichoderma fungi treatment against white root fungi. Furthermore, the results in greenhouse and field for 6 months showed R. microporus that the Serratia bacteria treatment,the Triadimefon fungicide treatment and the Tridimefon fungicide treatment could suppress the attack disease intensity of white root disease, except the Trichoderma fungi treatment that could not suppress the disease intensity of white root disease.
