บทคัดย่อ (EN): Rubber yield is the result of interaction between genetic and environment. One of the main environmental factors that influence rubber yield is rainfall. Climate change can affect environment and crop yield. Dry season becomes longer and uncertain. The purpose of this study was to identify the water status, leaf fall pattern, yield and physiological characters of four IRR clones observed within two different seasons. The experiment was carried out at Sembawa Research Station in 2013 and 2014. The behaviour of 4 clones (IRR 100, IRR 118, IRR 41 and IRR 5) was studied under a randomized complete block design (RCBD) experiment with 3 replications, in 2013 and 2014. Total rainfall and the number of rainy days in 2013 were higher than 2014. Total rainfall in 2013 and 2014 were 3,451 and 1,851 mm respectively, whereas the number of rainy days in 2013 and 2014 were 95 and 83 days respectively. Leaf fall in 2014 started at the end of June and occured two times. Dry month in September 2014 triggered the second leaf fall. Based on the yield, IRR 100, IRR 5, and IRR 41 were stable for 2 years in dry months condition, while IRR 118 had a very large decrease in production (30%). While latex sucrose was increased for all clones tested but inorganic phosphorus was stable and similar for the 2 years. In 2014, the four clones had same response which was a sharp declining trend.
