บทคัดย่อ: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจข้อมูลในบริบทในท้องถิ่นตลอดจนการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดิน แถบแม่น้ำมูลในเขตจังหวัดสุรินทร์ โดยการแจกแบบสอบถาม 101 คน สัมภาษณ์ และ วิเคราะห์คุณภาพน้ำ ทำการเก็บน้ำ 4 จุด 3 ครั้ง ในฤดูฝน ฤดูหนาวและฤดูร้อน จาก 4 หมู่บ้านใน 2 ตำบลของอำเภอท่าตูม จังหวัดสุรินทร์ ผลการศึกษาสำรวจพื้นที่ ตำบลท่าตูม และ ตำบลทุ่งกุลา พบว่า ประชากรส่วนใหญ่มีการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา ประกอบอาชีพ เกษตรกร ทำนา เลี้ยงสัตว์ ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ที่ดินเป็นทั้งที่อยู่อาศัยและทำการเกษตร ปัญหาที่ดิน ที่สำคัญคือ พื้นที่แห้งแล้ง ดินขาดความอุดมสมบูรณ์ ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ปุ๋ยเคมี ผลการวิเคราะห์คุณภาพน้ำทั้งทางกายภาพและทางเคมี พบว่า พารามิเตอร์ที่ผ่านเกณฑ์มาตรฐานทุกตัวอย่างได้แก่ ค่าพีเอช ค่าออกซิเจละลาย ของแข็งแขวนลอย ความกระด้างทั้งหมด ฟอสฟอรัส พารามิเตอร์ที่ตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่ผ่านเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน คือ ค่าอุณหภูมิ ค่าบีโอดี มีน้ำที่ไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ 1 ตัวอย่าง น้ำที่ผ่านเกณฑ์คิดเป็นร้อยละ 91.67 ค่าการนำไฟฟ้า ค่าของแข็งละลายน้ำ มีน้ำที่ไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์ 4 ตัวอย่าง (ในฤดูร้อน ) น้ำที่ผ่านเกณฑ์คิดเป็นร้อยละ 66.67 พารามิเตอร์ที่ไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์มาตรฐานทุกตัวอย่างคือ ค่าไนไตรท์ ความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการใช้ทรัพยากรลำน้ำมูล ชุมชนเห็นด้วยอย่างยิ่งว่า ควรมีการจัดตั้งกลุ่มองค์กรอนุรักษ์แม่น้ำมูลโดยรัฐบาลสนับสนุน ชุมชนเห็นด้วยอย่างมากว่า การมีกรรมสิทธิ์ในที่ดินทำให้รู้สึกหวงแหนและดูแลทรัพยากรมากขึ้น การทำลายป่าไม้ มีผลต่อคุณภาพน้ำในแม่น้ำมูล ชุมชนสามารถดูแลทรัพยากรได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและสะท้อนปัญหาว่าปัจจุบันการใช้ทรัพยากรของประเทศไทยไม่ถูกต้อง และภาพรวมชุมชนลำน้ำมูล มีความเห็นด้วยอย่างมากว่าชุมชนได้พึ่งพิงการใช้ทรัพยากรในลำน้ำมูล
บทคัดย่อ (EN): This research focused on surveying contextual information and using land of wetland along Mun river. The researchers used 101 questionnaires distributed by the people interviewed and analyzing the water quality. The water collected with four villages in Amphur Ta-toom, Surin about three times in the rainy winter and summer. The research result from surveying at Ta-toom Tambon, Thung Kula Tambon discovered that the most studied the primary school, occupation of farming, livestock farmers and the most land used in both residential and farm land. Problem is an important area of dry lack of soil fertility and the most are using chemical fertilizers. The result from analysis of the quality of water both physical and chemical discovered parameters is agreeably with the standard rate as pH,DO, Suspended Solids, total Hardness and Phosphorus. The temperature, BOD have 1 water sample not passing with the standard rate that pass percentage 91.67. Conductivity, TDS is not passing four samples ( in summer ) , so that water passing percentage 66.67 .Parameter that is disagreeably with the standard rate for all samples is nitrite. The opinion of community about using resource of the stream, most agree that organizations should be established by government to promote river conservation value, very agreed that to make sense of ownership of land resources, cherish and care more. The water quality have affected by destruction of forests. Community can take care resources efficiently. This result reflect the current problems in using the resources of Thailand at Mun river. The overall community are very agreed that the community can rely on the use of resources in the data stream.
