บทคัดย่อ (EN): To study and construct the Solar Drying Chamber (SDC) combined with furnace for solving problem drying of rubber sheet in the raining day using the heat from furnace and reducing of time form 15 days to 3-4 days. This chamber is the research project that continued from the original SDC in only sunlight. The chamber with furnace is made of steel frame work with 2 m. wide x 5 m. long x 3 m. high. The walls and roof are lined with gravanized steel coated with black color just to maximize absorption of sun radiation and deflect UV ray from the stored rubber sheet, potentially leaving the rubber sheets deteriorated. A Ventilation shaft is installed atop with all 4 sides of the SDC are flanked with plastic sheet to absorb sheet from the sun. Underneath is paved with soil and sand respectively for about 10 cm. thick and with appox.15o slanting to stove the heat. The important of the chamber is furnace lined with tolerant brick inside to full all side. At the back which connected with hot air steam from the base pass through the chamber which have the trolley inside. There were 744 Sheets in the trolley It will be suitable for the farmer´s area 75-100 rai. From this research in the sunny day the temp. in the chamber up to 42oC-53oC higher than outside 7oC-14oC , then the moisture content in the sheets are less than 1%. But in the raining day the heat from the furnace is provided for dried the rubber sheet at 50oC for 3 days , 0.5 kg firewood per 1 kg of dried Sheet Rubber giving high quality nice colors , storage in a long time without fungus contamination It will be take them only 1 day for smoke drying process , 3-4 days for the conventional , reducing the production cost up to 3 times. So, the reduction of firewood to decreasing the carbon content for compacted environmental. The construction cost of SDC with furnace is around 140,000 baht. For one year can make sheet 29,760 kg. And the price is higher than in the normal market 2.38 baht per kg. which will yield value added 70,828.80 baht per year.
