Several methods can be done to determine the antibiotics. Each method has a complicated analysis and use of high cost instruments. Now days, there no have a rapid and easy method to determine antibiotic in poultry feed. Objective of this study was to develop of test kit for antibiotics determination in Poultry feed by Microbiological assay with 5 standard cultures of Bacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Bacillus cereus ATCC 11778, Micrococcus luteus ATCC 9341 and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538P. The results shown Chlortetracycline Tetracycline Oxytetracycline Erythromycin Monensin Spiramycin and Tylosin were sensitive to the lowest concentration at 0.97 ppm. Whereas, Lincomycin and Zinc Bacitracin were sensitive to the lowest concentration at 3.90 ppm. 171 out of 406 samples (42.12 %) were positive by microbiological assay and 71 Sample (17.48 %) were Chlotetracycline detection by HPLC-UV. Some positive sample may be contaminated other antibiotics without analysis. The results show not found inhibition zone when applied both petri dish and tube in poultry feeds of 57 certified farm.
