บทคัดย่อ (EN): Natural rubber is an important crop in Thailand. The income in 2010, the country exported more than 1,333 million dollars. Due to the price of rubber increased from the demands of the global market and the promotion of government such as General Tire to raise income levels and stability for farmers in growing new tires, Phase 1 (years 2004-2006). Farmers in the northeastern and northern Thailand change from crops to increase their rubber plantation. Rubber plantations in the country today, In the Northeast were up 447,456 hectares and 111,010 hectares in the north (Data from the Rubber Research Institute of Thailand in 2010). But the truth is that almost all of these smallholders who have never experienced before in planting rubber.The lack of knowledge, understanding and managing plantations to grow properly and agencies that research and development of the rubber in the north-east and north with only one a Nong Khai rubber research centre. In order to resolve the problem a fully integrated of Rubber Research Institute of Thailand and the Office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Fund. The project has established a Rubber Learning Center with the participation of farmers. The first Rubber Learning Centre Oriented by Farmers’ Participation in Nong Khai province. Opened on January 17, 2007 is located in Nong Khai Rubber Research Centre. Overall Result since the 2007-2011 activities of the Nong Khai Rubber Learning Centre Oriented by Farmers’ Participation, there are 3 Activities. Activity 1: To study, review and primary data collection to process problems and needs by the discussion stage, the stage were all 165 times participated in 6,367 peoples. There are 610 peoples as a volunteered and coordinator work in the area and 795 cases interested in joining testing technology from RRIT. Activity 2: Exhibits and technology transfer activities. Administrator has study of 9,951 people. Published technical papers 11,674 books. The outdoor exhibition 20 times. The trainee student, all 15 peoples from four institutions. The training of farmer leaders to create knowledge, technical skills that can transfer the technology of rubber tires for their community in 1,500 peoples is the fifth course (1) The course of tapping rubber, and rubber sheet, good quality. (2) The course of a rubber plantation. (3) The course of mixing chemical fertilizer for use in rubber plantations. (4) The course of persistence and propagation of rubber. (5) The course of creating the good quality cup lumps. Activity 3: Creating the model of rubber plantation by the philosophy of sufficiency economy. Each activity is associated and linked to the issue of academic knowledge in the area. At this time Thailand has a Rubber Learning Centre Oriented by Farmers’ Participation 6 centers in the Northeast and 4 centers in the Northern.
