บทคัดย่อ (EN): To investigate the suitable technology for rubber wood production, this study was carried out at Surat Thani province, southern part of Thailand during 2007 to 2014. An experimental design was split-split plot by arranged the main plot in RCB with 3 factors and 3 replications. Main plot was rubber clone consisting of 5 newly clones i.e. RRIT 403, RRIT 404, RRIT 408, RRIT 412 and Chachoengsao 50 (the clone RRIT 403, RRIT 404 and RRIT 412 were recommended in latex timber group, RRIT 408 was recommended in latex group and Chachoengsao 50 was recommended in timber group). Subplot was planting density consisting of 3 spacing patterns i.e. 1,111 plants/ hectare (3x3 m. spacing), 833 plants/hectare (3x4 m. spacing) and 625 plants/hectare (4x4 m. spacing). Sub-subplot was nitrogen fertilizer level ratio i.e. 50% of recommended nitrogen (10-8-20), 100% of recommended nitrogen (20-8-20) and 150% of recommended nitrogen (30-8-20). Total of 135 experimental units were consisted of 49 plants for each unit. Trunk height and an estimated clear bone wood volume per area showed significantly among rubber clones, while trunk girth was not showed significantly different. Clone RRIT 404 showed greater of trunk height (4.19 m) and estimated wood volume (65.2m3/hectare) than those of the other clones. Trunk girth and estimated clear bone wood volume per area showed significantly different among differential planting density, while trunk height was not showed significantly different. The lowest planting density of this studied (625 plants/hectare) gave highest an average of plant girth (48.3 cm) on the other hand, the highest planting density (1,111plants/hectare) gave highest of an estimated clear bone wood volume per area (60.6 m3/hectare). However, trunk height and estimated clear bone wood volume per area were not showed significantly different among differential fertilizer application. Moreover, interactions among these three factors were not found during a period of 7 years after planting.
