บทคัดย่อ (EN): Antifungal activities of essential oils (cinnamon oil, clove oil, anise oil, citronella oil, orange oil, tangerine oil, turmeric oil, guava leaf oil, nutmeg oil, lime oil, eucalyptus oil, and peppermint oil against molds (Aspergillus niger, Penicillium chrysogenum, 2 species of Penicillium spp., Trametes versicolor, 3 species of Aspergillus spp., 2 species of Rhizopus spp., Fusarium spp, Trichoderma spp. and 2 species of unknown) on rubberwood were investigated. Cinnamon oil, peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil had high activity against all molds and the decay fungus with the concentration of 225, 300 and 600 ?l ml-1 and 350?l ml-1, respectively. Cinnamon oil, peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil at those concentration was capable of providing a total protection from mold growth and resistance to fungal on rubberwood for at least 90 days. Results of sensory evaluation showed, that no significant (flavor, color, taste, aftertaste, and overall liking) differences (p<0.05) in consumer hedonic test were found between tea kept in packaging made of oil-treated rubberwood and the controls after 8 weeks at 30 ?C.
