บทคัดย่อ (EN): The effectiveness of agroforestry practice has been not only a popular field of research in the field of forestry mangement, but also an important part of natural resources and the environment dovelopment plan due to the sustainability of agriculture, particularly, in deforested area. Nevertheless, the implementation in this program of traditional farms in developing countries has been discussed lengthily in the literature. There is a lack of agreement on the desirability and effectiveness of such agroforestry programs. This study aims to identify and to analyze independent variables which are considerded to influence and contribute to agroforestry program in deforested area of some villages in Petchaburi province, Central Plain Region of Thailand from the point of view of microeconomics with a more indepth diagnosis of agroecological case study. Somple comparative analysis and Chi-square test to analyze the significance of the relationship between some factors of farmers related to participation in agroforestry program are provided. According to subject of this investigation, the informations which experienced during this study progra can support for conducting rural studies of agroforestry practice to Thailand case are the followng ; 1)Yakihata Ringyo in Japan by cultural factor of farmer should be adapted to the supplement occupation in agricultural extension work in Thailand; 2 ) Home garden/Multistory planting is profitable and sustainable system with ecologically and economically by traditional farmer should be needed to support in the household; 3) Mama strip agroforestry system to combinate with Taungya system may be considered for mountain areas; 4)Reforestation through out the conntry with a large variety of tree and crop species should be recommended; 5) Title right to the land and weeding,particularly cattle grazing have to considerded; 6)Presently practiced and adopted with regular implementation and evaluation of the program in collaboration with change agent and local people are vital; 7)Of necessity, japan has the capability to pioneer research and development of agroforestry practice which is quite certain key in conservation and development of natural resources, not only for the Southeast Asian countries, but also for the globe; 8) Comparative study among the deforested area with economic theoretical supported are important to refining and finalizing the project design.
