บทคัดย่อ (EN): Homogeneity of filial populations from W x Am and W x W crossings were identified progenies complied with normal distribution in parameters, so these parameters were used similarly during the data analysis. The girth at opening had a low variation and standard deviation was 4.0 cm in both populations; the girth increment, the progenies had a very high variation, standard deviation of W x Am was 1.1 cm and 0.9 cm for the W x W; for latex yield, the variation was very high, the standard deviation of W x Am and W x W progenies were 11.8 – 8.5 g/t/t respectively. The progeny parameters were manifested as a one-peak distribution curve while yield of the progenies from W x W was showed as an increasing distribution curve. There were no significant differences in the girth at opening and the girth increment between the progenies from the two parentages of W x Am and W x W while there were differences in latex yield between the two populations. The yield of the progenies from the W x W parentage was better than the W x Am. In different trial locations, the populations of two parent pairs W x Am and W x W showed differences in the girth at the opening and subsequent girth increment; the latex yield did not show difference between W x Am parents, but showed difference between W x W parents. Elite progenies were derived from Amazonian including LH 97/267, LH 98/174, LH 98/377, LH 01/404, LH 01/485, LH 01/684 and LH 01/1064 achieved high performances on vigor and yield over the control clones as well as leaf disease resistance.
