บทคัดย่อ (EN): The toxic effects of 5 candidate insecticides were evaluated on the basis of gravid adult female mortality, oothcae dropped and oothecae hachability I laboratory conditions, 28+-3 deg C and 71+-20 % RH. The insectididal baits tested were DDVP, chlorpyrifos, boric acid and hydramethylnon. It was found that the toxicity of DDVP > chlorpyrifos > boric acid > hydramethylnon. There were not indicated statistically significant different among the toxic baits meanwhile dydramethylnon was shown the lowest percent (14.10%). For the percentage of oothecae hatchability, it may not be affected from poisoning by toxic baits which the adult females were treated.For continuous exposure test, the insectidides tested in this experiment were included diazinon, cypermethrin, thetacypermethrin, deltamethrin and ethofenprox. It was found that all pyrethroid insecticides were given more toxic effective than organophosphate insecticide. Duration of coating dry film deposited duration among 1, 2 and 4 weeks, diazinon and ethofenprox showed the high percentage of oothecae dropped meanwhile the low percentage drop were found in thetacypermethrin. There were not indicated much evidence affected on the percentage of oothecae hatchability in all tested insecticides. Ethofenprox was the most effective reduction on oothecae hatchability. Abnormal development in oothecae produced by gravid female cockroaches might attribute to lower percentage of oothecae hatchability.
