บทคัดย่อ (EN): Rubber industry in Thailand has increased the requirement for quality and uniformity of its raw material, natural rubber. In this study, the level of biomolecules contents and properties of fresh latex of Hevea brasiliensis clones GT 1, BPM 24, PB 235, RRIT 156, RRIT 251 and RRIM 600 were investigated. The total soluble protein and carbohydrate contents in serum of fresh latex were extracted by using acid extraction and determined by colorimetric reaction. The properties of natural rubber were evaluated by standard methods of the total solid contents (TSC%), dry rubber contents (DRC%), non-rubber components (NRC%) and volatile fatty acids (VFA number). The biomolecule contents and most properties of fresh latex varies (p < 0.01) as a function of clone type and climate factors. The results could benefit most not only rubber industry to determine the main biomolecules in rubber latex, but also rubber breeding to evaluate a new clone with specific rubber properties.
